First of all, do not worry; it is completely normal to notice strange sensations after surgery.
It is normal to experience some bleeding during the first 24 to 72 hours.
If the bleeding is heavy or does not stop, try gently pressing a sterile gauze. If it persists, consult your dentist.
Swelling is normal during the first three days.
To reduce it, apply a cold pack to your cheek for 20 minutes, with 10-minute breaks between applications. The swelling should gradually subside. If it does not, consult your dentist.
To ease discomfort, use an extra pillow on the first night so that your head remains in a slightly elevated position.

Four days after surgery, start brushing your teeth again.

Good oral hygiene
Maintaining proper oral hygiene is essential to prevent complications.
Implant Warranty Exclusion
The implant warranty will be excluded under the following conditions:
Lack of regular check-ups and maintenance
Failure to attend the minimum annual check-ups for implants.
Poor oral hygiene
Not maintaining proper oral hygiene or appropriate care for implants and prostheses, which may lead to infections or complications affecting the implant.
Trauma or accidents
Damage caused by accidents, falls, or trauma affecting the implant or prosthesis.
Manipulation or replacement
Any intervention on implants and/or prostheses by personnel outside of IOC.
Bite Alteration
Due to rehabilitative procedures in the same dental arch as the implants or in the opposing arch by personnel not affiliated with IOC.
Lack of Adherence to Professional Instructions
(For example: not rehabilitating posterior sectors and overloading implants)
Unreported Pre-existing Medical Conditions or Systemic Diseases
That may affect dental health, such as uncontrolled diabetes, autoimmune diseases, or bleeding disorders.
Use of Unreported Medications or Products
Not informing the dentist about the use of medications or products that may interfere with dental health or osseointegration.
All Procedures and/or Materials
Including complementary therapies unrelated to the implant that may be necessary to perform a new treatment resulting from bone or gingival loss not attributable to a defect in surgical technique (For example: bone grafts, gum grafts, membranes, PRP, conscious sedation, or general anesthesia).
Smoking or Toxic Habits
Smoking or using tobacco products, or other health toxins, as this may compromise implant osseointegration and increase the risk of complications.
